Are You Ready to Shape, Define, and Enhance Your Brows?

COMBINATION BROWS

Combination Brows is a fusion of both Microblading & Microshading; resulting in a look that combines the precision of Microblading hair strokes with the soft shading of Ombre Brows or Powder Brows. The microbladed strokes add realistic hair-like texture, while shading provides depth and dimension, resulting in eyebrows that are both natural and defined. The Combination Brow technique is achieved a couple different ways, which may involve using traditional cartridge needles & or specialized blades which create thin hair- like strokes.  Both techniques involve implanting pigment into the skin’s upper dermal layer. Combination Brows is ideal for clients:

  • With normal to dry skin
  • Whose brow hair isn’t overly thick
  • Who have a brow shape/form already
  • Who have sparse, overplucked brows
  • Ideal for those who seek a seamless blended & subtle enhancement
  • Not ideal for clients with large pores & oily skin

Benefits of Combo Brows

Imagine waking up every morning with defined blended brows. Say goodbye to stencils, pencils, powders, and pomades – Microbladed strokes at the front of the brow create a lifelike texture, while the Microshading towards the arch & tail, adds depth, resulting in seamless blended brows. The benefits of Combination Brows are endless:

  1. Natural & Realistic Definition: The most attractive benefit of Combination Brows is its ability to mimic the natural growth pattern of eyebrow hair & density of the body, arch & tail.

  2.  Customizable Brows: Depth, dimension, and definition, all customizable – adds a multi-dimensional effect to the eyebrows. This depth and definition make brows stand out without appearing overly drawn on, resulting in a balanced and polished appearance.

  3. Suitability for Different Brow Goals:  Combination Brows are well-suited for individuals with varying eyebrow goals. Whether looking to fill in sparse areas, rebalancing brows, fixing brow asymmetry, or simply enhancing the natural appearance; Combination Brows offer a widespread solution. Whether seeking a natural enhancement or a more pronounced look, Combination Brows offer the flexibility to cater to individual preferences.

  4. Time- Saving: You’ll have extra minutes in your morning routine. Wake up to perfectly defined brows every day.

  5. Confidence Boost: Combination Brows enhances what clients currently have and gives what they’re missing. Whether going to the pool or attending a special event, the brows will be beautifully blended & unnoticeably enhanced.

Disadvantages of Combo Brows

While clients enjoy the many benefits and natural-looking results, it’s important to understand & note these potential disadvantages to Combination Brows so that one may make the best choice:

  1. Color Fading: Over time, the difference in techniques will allow the pigment to fade at a different rate. What this means is: Microblading tends to fade much quicker when compared to Microshading, this can result in uneven appearance of color as the brows age.

  2. May Need to Pencil: Depending on how well color remains in the skin as well as how prominent or defined a client would like to see the brows, would warrant additional touch ups or filling with makeup to even out the appearance and darken as preferred. For clients who want a darker, more defined or pronounced “makeup look”, filing in with pencil and “cutting the brows with concealer” will be necessary for a bolder look.  Microshading provides the shape and serves as a great base to enhance as desired.

  3. Initial Dark Appearance: Right after the procedure, the brows may appear darker than desired due to the fresh application of pigment. This color will soften as the skin heals, but it can be a temporary concern for some individuals.

Most individuals experience minimal discomfort during the procedure. The Microblading portion may be felt a tiny bit more than Microshading. Topical numbing creams are applied to the area before and during to minimize any potential discomfort.

Combination Brows appointments last around 2.5-3 hours, including the completion of paperwork, pre-numbing, brow design, and completion of the procedure.

When performed by a skilled and trained professional, Combination Brows is safe. It’s important to choose a licensed technician who follows strict hygiene standards to minimize the risk of infection or possible adverse reactions.

Immediately after, the brows will look amazing, the skin may have a little redness or slight swelling; this is normal and fades away with a day or so.  The next few days the brows will darken dramatically in appearance. They will then begin to flake as they heal, and over a period of a few weeks, the color will go thru many changes (especially the hairstrokes) until finally settling at about 4 -6 weeks. It’s important to follow the aftercare instructions provided to ensure optimal healing. Click here to view the brow healing schedule.

Combination Brows is best suitable for normal to dry skin types & fair-medium skin tones. Oily skin is not ideal due to the oils effect on the hairstrokes (making them fade very quickly). For medium-deep, deeper skin tones, the hairstrokes although initially may be prominent, will also blend and not be as visible as the brows age.  You must qualify as a candidate It’s not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, those with certain medical conditions, or those prone to keloid scarring.
